How was your Thanksgiving? Did you do anything fun? Did family drive you nuts? If you didn't celebrate Thanksgiving this past weekend, did you have a nice weekend anyway?
We had friends in town for the holiday and it was fun for the most part. Bryson is getting his molars I think and has been in a horrible mood for days crying almost constantly. Other than that though, it was really nice to hang out with our friends again.
We had Thanksgiving dinner at our house for my family. This all because my sister decided to come into town so I cancelled my trip to FL for her. #1 - my sister and her fiance ended up not even staying with us, which was my entire reason for staying in town, going out and spening almost $200 on new bedding, etc. for the guest room #2 she also blew me off on Friday when we were supposed to go shopping for bridesmaid dresses for her wedding. UGH!
And my family drove me crazy on Thanksgiving day. They can't get a long or they're just totally off their dang rockers lately. I was RELIEVED when it was over. Thank God for the good food! That kept me and the baby happy!
well, things never go as planned and with some family members under the weather, DH and I had dinner alone I was invited to a friend's house but we had all the food so we may as well eat it! Friday i did a little shopping in the AM and then visited my grandfather and aunt. Saturday, after work, i met my brother and his girlfriend for lunch.
DH and I had two families to spend Thanksgiving with, his mom's side and my mom's side. We had dinner at one side and then had dessert at the other. It was a pretty good holiday all in all, thankfully.
I had the BEST thanksgiving EVER! I decided that I was too pregnant to go to my family's (2 1/2 hours away), so we stayed home and just relaxed. I slept til 10:30, then napped from 1-3:30. Then we went to the movies and I ate so much popcorn and cherry icee that I had a stomach ache and went back to bed at 8:30pm. See.....I told you it was the best day ever!
ours was pretty quiet. We went to mt inlaws in CT with the dogs AND one cat. She's old and needs meds twice a day, plus she loves it at their house. It was just us, inlaws, John's Grandma and her caretaker. The food was really good and I didn't overeat too much. The next day we had to go to my MIL's friends for lunch, then her sister and family came over for dinner.
