How many kiddos do you want?

DH and I want to have 2 but are leaving the possibility of a 3rd open if we end up having another boy this time around. It would be a few years down the road though if we did. I think though we'll end up just having the 2.

How about you guys?

When people ask this question we just say "10" kind of as a joke. We want a lot of kids but I think we've agreed that 10 is our limit. We don't have a specific number in mind...I guess somewhere between 4 and 10.

For right now, DH and I just want this one. Don't know how we will feel later on but we quite contented for now. I would like to adopt as well but that's way down the road.

right now we want one more. I'm thinking maybe another "set" after all these kiddos are in school. I'd love to have lots of kids, but I think I'll space them out (given I can even HAVE another)

I'd love to have two. For most of my life I wanted only one but that changed a couple of years ago when I met DH.

We are still leaving the possibility of more than 2 open, but we plan to play it by ear after this one.

I would like a large family... But also as a midwife I know that I won't necessarily have the time to raise a large family with the type of attention and love I want to give my children as well as being a good midwife. Right now we're thinking maybe 3-4, possibly more,, depending on our careers.

DF and I are planning on having 5. We want them spaced somewhat close together, with no more than 3 years between them. I hope that I can handle it, but given my back injuries we'll have to see what happens. We've considered adopting either in the US or Internationally if my back continues to get worse after we have had 3 of our own.

Well, I'm preggers with #3 right now. DH and I had talked about 4, but I really think that this will probably be it for us unless I have some huge change of heart. We've agreed that once the baby is born and healthy DH will have a vasectomy.

#4 is due in March and I'd love to have a couple more if possible but will also be happy with just the 4 if that's all I can have. I'm 39 now, so, I figure I can fit a couple more in before I'm too old...but you never know! :-)
