BUt are causing me severe pain! I was in Labor and Delivery for 24 hours.. 2 cm and 60% effaced. They sent me home contracting every 2 mns.. BUt now they have slowed to 2-5 minutes. This was on THURSDAY! ITs saturday! I have walked FOREVER! The only thing I haven't tried is DTD because it hurts my internal scars so bad! Some one please give some advice.. either to Stop the contractions or make them do soemthing! This is miserable!

SOOOOO many HUGS for you!!!!!!! Im sorry I dont have much advice. I was the same way but they seemed to slow down or almost go away when I slept. Do yours continue all night? You are sooo close. Your body is definately gearing up for labor. Keep hanging in there! It will be any time now. Im sure you are tired of hearing that but you are almost there momma. When I finally got a good night of sleep (as good as you can get at 41 weeks) my contractions changed and I knew I was in labor. They actually didnt even hurt but I could just tell that they were different. Keep on going momma. You are almost to the finish line!!!

I wish I had some great advice for you but I seem to be in a similar situation myself. Mine are not extremely painful- just annoying. They start to come on strong and then fade away when I sit or try to sleep. Last night I had a glass of wine and that did help me- but I wouldn't do that in combination with the benedryl or ambien. I hope you get some relief soon.

a shot of vodka also could help- but agreed that that is a bad idea with the meds... it depends on when you last took them.

I just PM'd you back- a LONG message.

I'm sorry. As miserable as I am right now- I remember my last hangover and I don't feel as bad all of a sudden. LOL I wish our bodies would make up their minds already.

Maybe a hot shower? or Bath?

Have you tried Raspberry leaf tea? I drink it every day now but when I thought labor was starting with my last babies, I drank a big pot and I swear it jump started my labor. I'm hesitant to say much because I don't know if you'd rather labor or just try to relax. My MW also have me insert Evening Primrose oil capsules before bed. They help soften the cervix so that it dilates easier. Just make sure you lie down because they fall out.

I hope you feel better soon!!

I am still here...And still contracting all though I lost more plug today. So thats a good sign. I am orally taking EPO 2 times a day.. I hadn't thought about vaginally. And I can't say I am waiting to progress the labor but I either want it to stop or get the show on the road. These constant contractions that are doing NO GOOD are making me angry and uncomfortable
