Have you had a nice weekend so far? What did you do?

We've had a great but busy weekend so far. Yesterday I had a show for Pampered Chef (I'm a consultant on the side for fun and a little extra money) and it went really well. I was so nervous about it because I am terrified of speaking in front of people but it went really, really well. It was so exciting! Then last night we had a holiday party for DH's work. That was so much fun! Lots of people were dancing and drinking and it was a blast to watch. Today we are going to try to just relax a bit but I do need to do some major grocery shopping. We seriously have nothing in our house.

This weekend has been good! Friday night we went to our favorite little pizzeria with the kids, their pick. Nothing too exciting. Yesterday my son had his 1st basketball game of this season and that was exciting! After the game, the kids went to spend the night with grandma so DH and I went and did our baby registry since my 2 best friends told me this week they are wanting to throw us a shower. SO we went the Babies R Us and took care of that and then grabbed a bite to eat. This morning we are still "childless" since the kids spent the night with grandma, so we went and did the grocery shopping and now here I sit....debating a nap before the kids return!

meh. yesterday was not so good. I did not get any sleep. Then i had to work. Then i got in a HUGE fight with DH cause i told him i need him to pitch in around the house cause now that i am pregnant it is a struggle to just get thru the day, let alone do 99% of the household chores and duties. He then hid upstairs for HOURS while i made Xmas cookies for a party today. I hope he gets it, he says he does, but i am not holding my breath. Today however, i get to go to my friend's Xmas cookie party, all girls too. Should be fun. Tomorrow (day off since i work Sat) i have a lot to do, including driving out to REI to pick up DHs Xmas gift, lunch with two friends, errands and cleaning and food shopping. I hope to get to Motherhood to buy some tops. I flip out every morning trying to get ready for work. It has been quite frustrating. My belly doubled in size from earlier in the week and it is a big hard on me to adjust to so suddenly.

Friday night I went to a mommy playgroup event and made a Christmas craft w/ Irelyn. Yesterday was her 1st birthday so that was a very busy day. She slept like crap last night so I'm exhausted today and plan on doing nothing!

This weekend we didn't do too much. i made a huge vegetable soup yesterday, and we went to see the house we're buying. Today I'm working on a paper (a final) and maybe we'll go out and do something- not sure what.

We went and looked at houses yesterday and went to dinner with my mom. We told her that we're pregnant and she was sooo excited! I couldn't believe how happy she was. I woke up feeling really sick today. I think it's the flu and maybe a little bit of pregnancy stuff. I have been working on school work and just laying around in bed today while DF put up Christmas decorations, etc. I really don't want to go back to work tomorrow and am considering calling out.

our weekend was pretty good. We took Cadie to the aquarium and that was pretty fun. She liked the penguins a lot. But she got bored about halfway through.

Sunday John and I had our second night out since we had Cadie. Went to a friend's house for dinner, played rock band and bowling (my first time on a wii!) and then went to a concert. It was pretty good. Then I got to sleep in b/c my in laws stayed over. They had to wake me up so they could leave at 10:30. I could have slept till noon easily!
