At first Nola was transverse and now she is breech. I am still very early so I'm not concerned, but I was wondering around when do babies start turning?

Most babies don't settle into head down position until 28-32 weeks, but even then, they can turn at any point after that, it just can be more difficult as they run out of space. Both of mine turned around 28 and 30 weeks and stayed that way.

awwww!!! you're using Nola!!! I love it (it's my DD's name ) do you have a middle name yet? That was really hard for me.

Really they can turn anytime (even IN labor) but typically I think by about 35 ish weeks they are pretty settled in.

Really? I really like it - you're the first person I've seen or heard of who has used that name too! I think it's beautiful, but yes, DH and I are having trouble with a middle name(s). What did you pick?

ETA:

And thank you everyone for the answers

We ended up with Nola Michelle. I was strongly considering Nola Kathryn though. She ends up being called "Nolie-bean" most of the time I've heard it ONE other time since we picked her name (other than a couple older people). Do you have any you like? I'm trying to remember what others I liked... I know there was a couple others. I found I mostly liked names that were 2 syllables and started and ended with a consonant.

Does your DH like it? It took mine forever to "come to terms" with the name. After the 10th person or so commented on how pretty it was he came around.

He does like it, it was one that was on our list and I just really fell in love with it yesterday so we switched from Jordan to Nola. We have a list going of middle names now - there are a ton, I'm going through every baby name possible! LOL!! DH likes very unique names so it's hard to find them if they are too original.

I agree with what the others have said about the turning and all but I just wanted to say that I love the name Nola too. It's really very pretty!

I am not sure about when they normally turn...but my little guy is still flipping just about daily. I hope he goes head down soon and stays that way
