fatloss4idiots.com basically it's all about a technique called "calorie shifting". Every day you shift the amount and type of calories you are eating and it sort of "confuses" your body into burning LOTS of fat. It's very high in proteins and you aren't limited in portions, just as long as you only eat until you are satisfied, not full. And you eat 4 meals a day. They give you a list of foods, you choose up to 30 and it creates the diet for you. It runs in 2 week cycles, 11days of diet and 3 "free" days.

That is amazing...its so great when you can do it together too! My husband will go all out for a week, then he's back to his french fries the following week. I'm going to share your story with him, and I hope it inspires him and shows him that men can do it too! Is he a picky eater?

I'm glad you're not in the flood zone.

he's not really a picky eater, he's just one of those guys who will not eat all day and then think he should eat his entire day's calories in one meal. so for him it was partly just spacing out the meals and knowing exactly what to eat.

I think our husbands might be related! Jeff does the same thing. He starves all day, then packs in three times the amount of food I eat at dinner, then falls asleep on the couch he's so full. Its so unhealthy. I'm going to check out this site and share it with him...it can't hurt!

yep, that's exactly what Jake did. now that he's eating better he isn't falling asleep the minute he sits on the couch. it's been nice.
