So my midwives are awesome!! I get to go until 1/20!! Not that I really want to be pregnant that long but, I REALLY don't want to be induced!! That gives me 12 more days. It turns out that my EDD was calculated based on my charting when we were TTC. They sent the paperwork to the back up OB based on my LMP which makes it 4 days later. So, that gives me and baby more time to bake! Next week, they go all out with natural labor stimulation. They will separate my membranes on the 13th and if I'm not in labor by the 15th, they want me to take castor oil . In the meantime, I have it written in my chart that DH and I are supposed to DTD as often as possible . She even recommended putting EPO on him before we DTD. I guess we put the baby there together, we'll get him out together!! Never have I had so much discussion about our sex life!!

So I guess, I'm not as overdue as I thought! YAY!!

Yay!!! I'm so happy to hear this! I'm sure your little one will be here before then though. Enjoy all that DTD. You may not be getting any (or wanting any for that matter ) for a while after baby is born. Please keep us updated daily!

My go into labor regime. EPO at night, sex in teh morning, walk on the beach (no beach? walk up and down the stairs). Walking in general is good, but walking on uneven surfaces is better.

Well this is definitely good news! Hopefully you won't feel so "under pressure" now!
Have fun DTD and good luck with everything else.

That's great news about getting 4 more days, even if just to eleviate some of the stress about baby not coming yet. I hope he gets moving soon. Doesn't he know we're all dying to read his birth story?!!!

I think there is a homeopathic castor oil, anyone know? All the benefits, none of the side effects? One of my patients said her midwife gave it to her.
