A link to pics of Drake's first cloth diaper. I know some of you ladies CD, or will (Shauna!), so would enjoy this. Shauna, why don't you come visit me and dye some prefolds for me. Can we tiedye? It would be so much fun.
What an inspiration. Your story was beautiful and you did an awesome job! What a great story to tell. I've never had a huge interest in Hypnobabies but after reading your story I really think that when the time comes I'm going to look further into it. Congrats again! He's a handsome little guy.
OMG!!!! When I saw the pic I was thinking "Is that an XS Thirsties? It's so huge on him!" And then I read the answer. LOL! Do you have any preemie Proraps? I suggested my friend Kathy get a few and she loves them! After 2 weeks her little Annabel is just reaching her birth weight of around 6lb 13oz and they fit great. And they are pretty cheap too.
Why in the world do most of you cool chicks have to live on the East coast?!! A CD dyeing party would be fun. I still haven't done mine (after buying them 6 months ago!). I have prepped them all and embellished a few. I really need to get my sewing maching going again but first I need to get to dyeing, which I have also had for 6 months! Plus I still have tons of fleece to make covers and longies out of. I need to get to work!
Nikki, Drake is adorable! So precious! I am so, so happy for you and proud to have known you on your journey to having him.
Oh, and I've known from the beginning that I would use Hypnobabies, as it echoes Bio Feedback I learned as a teen to deal with severe intestinal sickness that would hit me every couple of months. But after reading your story, I'm even more confident about it now. Pressure waves and birthing time is such a lovely way to retrain your mind at how to look at birth. I'm so excited that it worked so remarkably for you. I mean, you got to 10 cm without even really knowing it. How amazing is that?!!
