Of course she would say it was a joke - I'm sure she didn't think anyone would call her out on that comment.
I had somebody imply the other day that I must not have had a bad labor since I went for a day and a half! She implied that it must have been mostly that early, easy labor. I wish!!! I wasn't getting a break.
I liked the comment about tearing terribly so it was a good thing she got the epidural. Maybe you wouldn’t have torn so badly if you didn’t have an epidural and could feel when to push and didn’t have to push flat on your back. I wish women would realize that intervention increases complications! And I didn't feel my 2nd degree tear while pushing my baby out!
I didn't read it, but I can guess what it says. We've all heard that stuff before. All of my friends get epidurals, all of my family members, etc. etc. Needless to say they think I'm 'nuts'. I like to think I'm the only sane one.
