I officially made the switch today from OB to a free standing birth center;
I don't know if all the recent"Birth Stories" on TV did it or, the discomfort I got
with one of the four OB's at the practice, I am relieved to have made the switch.

Another thing I could not stand with the hospital birth's was their insistence
on removing the baby for routine checks, I just never trusted them to not feed
formula to the baby, so I always accompanied my children to the nursery, so it is
an added comfort that I will be able to immediately bond with baby with little to no
unnecessary medical interference.

Great! I really wish I had a free standing birth center close to me this time...

I had a wonderful experience having DD at one.

That's great, I think you are going to love it! One thing that was great about my birth center birth was that we went home 5 hours later. It helped a lot to be back in my own bed to recover and relax.

The world today is upside down because there is so very little love in the home, and in family life. We have no time for each other. Everybody is in such a terrible rush, and so anxious…and in the home begins the disruption of the peace of the world.
