This just SUCKS! Yesterday I had contractions all afternoon, by the time I went to bed they were 7 minutes apart and getting a lot more intense. I spent half the night unable to sleep through them, finally fell asleep and they just quit all together! It's so frusterating I could just SCREAM!!!
Having NO signs of labor this morning... Gonna go start my house cleaning, figure out which room my mom's gonna be sleeping in this time. *sigh*

omg, i am so sorry Do you have stairs? Are you up for castor oil yet? I found when i went up and down the stairs the contractions really picked up. But I also had castor oil too, so who knows what was at work (the castor oil was VILE in so many ways though, everyone is right!)

Aww! I am new here, so sorry for barging in, but I so remember being in your shoes. I had contrax on and off for weeks before my little boy was actually born, but none of them ever even mattered. The weeks leading up to his birth, I would think "Today could be the day!" and it never was. I eventually gave up lol. My doctor insisted on an induction and I caved. Set the date for Sept 11 (creepy, I know). By the middle of the week, I was so frustrated, I called and rescheduled for Sept 7. I went into labor Sept. 6th! lol I think my little guy was just stubborn but when I was ready to force him out, he came on his own.

Anyway, I really hope your LO decides to arrive shortly! I remember going CRAZY waiting for labor to start and even the day I did go into labor, I remember DH and I both not wanting to jinx anything so we kept saying it probably wasn't real lol. (((hugs))) hang in there!

well I guess its good and bad she will let you go to 44 weeks. lol Mine will only allow 42 weeks and 6 days before indcution. THough she "has other means" of helping things along after 41 so she says. lol We have not talked about what. I am guessing membrane sweeps kinda things.
I hope your baby doesn't decide to keep you in suspence much longer!

Have you tried doing chair lunges? That can help baby to be in a really great position- really really low, which usually brings on more pressure, which brings on contractions and dilation!

I've decided to go get it, DH talked me into it. Now if I can just find SOMETHING to wear... absolutely nothing fits. Even DH's shirts end at my belly button, arg!
