So this morning on the radio there was an ad for a lawyer. They specifically mentioned birth trauma as one of the things he "fights" for. I just thought that was really cool that it's getting recognized as a real thing!

AND, my midwife told me today that the local paper is doing an article on local homebirth midwives!! woot!! Can't wait to see how that comes out. hopefully really positive!

Wow! I spent the other day while JM was down reading the forum on birth trauma on Mothering.com and some of the stories are horrendous.

When the article comes out you'll have to send us a link if they put them online.

I know, I'm so sad to hear what some women go through

I'd love to see the article when it comes out!

Birth trauma is so hard- those women really do deserve compensation, and the doctors causing it deserve to pay for it.

And woohooo for a midwife article

As someone who literally felt raped by her OB I can definitely say that there should be some sort of compensation and protection for this. The things I have heard are far more horrendous than what I went through and I still feel so violated from mine...

Yay for the midwife story!
