Hey, girls, just wanted to let you know that I'm still around. I've been in lurker mode for a week or so now. Memorial Day weekend was very busy for us, and then on Wednesday (at 34 weeks) I started going into labor. I was contracting 4 minutes apart (steadily) all night and into the morning. So I spent the day Thursday at the hospital while the midwife tried to stop my labor.

I'm home now, on bedrest and dosed up on Terbutaline to keep the contractions from starting again. Ugh, not the most natural thing in the world, but better than having to give birth that early. I am 2-3 cm dilated and 20% effaced, and they're trying to hold off labor at least another week. This baby is trying hard to come, though...I don't think there's a chance I'll make 37 weeks, let alone 40.
Hope you're all doing well...welcome to our newbies and congrats to all the new additions! Can't wait to catch up a little around here.

hang in there momma!!!! My friend was very similar to you around the same time. The turb worked and she was taken off at 37 weeks. She didn't deliver (natural) until a few days after 40

Thanks for checking in. I hope baby stays in as long as it needs to get big and strong for the outside world.
