Yep, baby has flipped to transverse! grr..... lol Her hed is in my right rib and booty in my left hip, she is not in the pelvic though. Midwife is not worried as I am only 34 weeks, And I am not too worries either, but its still on my mind. lol

So thats my vent and a question. So for hte birth it says I need the bottle of natural oil. What one do you recomend? My midwife has Vit. E and Olive oil isted as examples but just curious what everyone else uses/.

thanks ladies.. no one used oil huh? Well Martina said Olive.. so we may go with that! lol

I am probably going to have a water birth (the more I think about it the apealing it sounds, but... I don't particularily like baths so we will play it by ear, so I want the oil just in case

yeah I used it with my "land" births only, I tore still, so who knows, but if I was having another "land" birth I would use it again. I never tore in water ( but then it was my 3rd and 4th so who knows again LOL)

I used Olive Oil, and only had a small tear that didn't require stitches.

I've heard olive oil, but it seems weird to me to put olive oil on my crotch. I've put it in my ears for ear infections though (slightly warmer than body temperature, with a cotton ball stuffed in afterward-- works like a charm!) and I guess that's no weirder.

For info on how to get your baby to flip, try About Spinning Babies. Lots of suggestions of exercises, stretches, sitting positions, etc. I have a transverse baby too, but I'm only 31 weeks so I'm not too worried yet.
