I just did some long needed cleaning up in there, and I added a few things such as the EDD article. (which I think was poorly written but said some important things for sure)

If anyone knows of anything out there they think should be added, please let me know! I should have been adding stuff all along, but I have neglected that subforum, which by the way, is actually awesome! Nicole, wonderfullymade, posted a lot of great things in there.

edited to add: Is anyone willing to help us gather info for some new topics? Cindy has a newborn and I have to do most of my interneting from my Iphone, so there isn't much chance for either of us to work hard on this stuff, but I think we really need to expand what is in there.

Here are some topics I think we should add

~Birthing Centers (what are they, why use one, general stats, maybe even a link to a list of all in the country etc)

~Interventions (types, pros and cons of each etc)

~Birth Plans (what are they, links to sites about them and templates etc)

~Baby aftercare info (eye ointment, vit K, Hep B, pros and cons for each etc)

~Doulas (what is a doula, stats, how to find, questions to ask etc)

~Midwives/Nurse Midwives over Ob's

~Different positions for labor

~Birthing Classes (types of classes, links to more info, how to find, etc)

~Why Natural Childbirth? (the pros to having a drug free birth)

~NCB websites

I am sure there are more, if anyone has any suggestions please suggest them!

If there is anything you would like to help us research, please grab the topic of your choice. You can post it yourself in the subforum. We have copyright rules here on JM, so please stay away from copy and pasting too much info. You can c+p short pieces of info, but please stick to links or reword it yourself if you want to and have the time.

thanks so much! And there is no real rush to get this done.

it still needs more work in there. Part of my problem is that my computer is super slow sometimes. I'm going to give out homework to everyone too to find info to add to or replace done of the info we have as well. If you have time please feel free to look some of it over. All I did was have some stuff deleted so far.

Did you get my text yesterday? I want to come visit tomorrow or Wednesday. If that works for you.

I'm in the process of putting together a simple to follow chart of all possible interventions and benefits/risks of each. I'll post it when I finish
