First off, I'd like to say Hi! and I'm really glad this group is here.
With my last delivery I had a very bad experience with the epidural and this go round I'm planning for a natural birth. I have some complications that make me a bit high risk so I'm still going to be in a traditional hospital setting.
I have been reading about the hypnobabies and I like the idea of that program. Unfortunately there aren't any classes that are close enough to for me to go to. There is a local hypnobirthing class that I could go to, and I'm wondering if anyone here has done both? Is the home study course enough or do you think the class would also be good? I'm thinking about doing both. Part of my reasoning is that my husband will go to the class but I'm not sure how much he would get out of the home study. Thanks for any thoughts about this.
Personally I would look into the class with your husband , but I am a fan of classes in general. Thanks for joining us, please stick around. And check out the subforum "NCB information and articles of interest" for lots of great info.
Thanks for all the responses. I think I'm going to go ahead and do both, the home study for me and the classes for both of us. I'm hoping the classes will help my husband understand more of what is going on and be more involved.
