do you recommend or are you doing to try to prepare yourself for natural childbirth?
what sort of exercises are good to help prepare? i am looking to add some into my daily routine...i feel really sluggish lately and with winter coming, i know i wont be walking as much as i have been....
this one is bound to be awesome, Shiva Rea is a great teacher. I have one of her regular yoga DVD's, she has a nice voice and isn't annoying. (side note is her real name actually is Shiva, she was destined to be a Yogi!
I haven't done much for exercise except I am still working and my job keeps me moving, lifting, squatting, bending, climbing, and stretching...
I have started squatting on my exercise ball, been doing Kegels here and there and been drinking red raspberry leaf tea which suppose to help strengthen the uterus...
I did two sessions of prenatal yoga and well it wasn't my cup of tea and plus with my job hours and lack of energy.. It wasn't working out for me... I have also made sure that when I am watching TV that I sit on the floor and do some stretching exercises or squats...
I get most of my exercise from chasing, playing and carrying my 2 boys. But in order to prepare for the birth I do alot of tailor sitting, pelvic rocks, squats and butterfly stretches. Also kegals of course. Basically I follow what Bradley recommends.
