Come baby come!
low iron can make a PPH more likely, and it can make recovery a bit more difficult. If it gets really low then there can be serious issues with your white/red counts and stuff, but I don't know too much about the really serious indications.

What are you taking for a suppliment?

Thanks everyone! I hope I'll be able to introduce our newborn any day now. I know whatever his or her birthday is tho, that it will be a wonderful day!

I didn't realize you were so close! I had just joined this board when you got your bfp! Wow, time flies...good luck and sending lots of come out baby vibes your way. I hope you get the homebirth you want (I can tell you it's the most amazing experience). I know you work around them all the time, but when it's you it's just different Good luck and hoping that bp stays down!

I just wanna know how the heck you are 38 WEEKS! When did that happen??? It flew by (for me), and I'm so happy for you! I still vividly remember the days on this board when you and DH were trying to get preggo. I'm thrilled that the time for you to meet your LO is here, and I hope you get the birth you want. I can't wait to hear all the details of your birth story, and "meet" your sweet new baby.

That's good to know about the low iron. I had pretty significant PPH with my son, so I will definitely take something for it.

Sorry, didn't mean to threadjack!

B)

Keep doing what your doing, and baby will be here before you know it! Can't wait to hear the good news!

For you iron, you may consider making yourself a "green smoothie" (just add a couple handfuls of raw spinach or kale to a fruit smoothie! I promise, you can't taste it at all!) It would be a great way of adding high iron to your diet in an easy-to-digest way!

I've been eating kale some, but need to do some green smoothies. We only just got a blender, so it'll be good to use it. Thanks for hte reminder!

oh, and I have no idea how I'm 38 weeks already.... I can hardly believe it myself! It's somewhat sureal, but so special too!

still pregnant ladies! But also still having lots of pressure waves. was 3-4 min apart for hours, and my doula een came over! Now they're about 8 and a lot less intense, so it seems like just a slow eary phase. Hopefully after a good night's sleep we'll see our LO! But I know whatever day it is will be the perfect one.
