This morning I noticed my face is covered with small little bumps or something like that, I can't see them, but it feels bumpy or rough, but not like dry skin. I didn't get this with Cadie at all. I actually am not sure what pregnancy mask is, but this phrase popped into my head. Did anyone experience this? I hope to gosh this isn't going to be like this the rest of the pregnancy, yuck!!!

anyone have any insight? remedies? I have a nice oatmeal mask upstairs I will probably make tonight. Hope that helps.

please tell me this won't get worse or turn into some nasty rash!

To m knowledge 'pregnancy mask' is when your skin gets splotchy. For my mom it was a light brown splotchiness that she still has to this day on her neck. I believe it's called chloasma....

Anyway, I usually have perfect skin, but throughout my entire pregnancy my skin was a wreck. Nothing I did helped. My best advice is to use a good cleanser, definitely use a mask weekly or so and moisturize! A lot of time if you don't moisturize your skin will produce more oil and sort of overcompensates. Don't need a heavy one, just something light that will hydrate the skin. I'm an esthetician/massage therapist and even I couldn't get my skin under control during pregnancy. Those stupid hormones sometimes wreak havoc! Good luck and I hope it clears up soon

That doesn't sound like pregnancy mask to me at all..... sounds more like a rash or something!

I'd wash the sheets with tea tree oil and vinegar to kill anything there, and use TTO on your face too. Hope it goes away asap!

but pregnancy does make your immune systems focus shift, so it can be easier to get something...
