I wasn't going to have one, but because I am pressure waves pretty regularly, I wanted to see where I was.
I've been having pressure waves today about every 5 minutes, but am only 60% effaced and fingertip dilated. But the waves are not what I would call strong but they looked strong on the NST this morning. Baby is very low, but not fully engaged so who knows!!!

Anybody have any experience with pressure waves this early, but no real progress? I'm hoping to make it through work today to get a project a little further along, but wow is this uncomfortable!!

I haven't been having any pressure waves so I don't imagine anything is going on with me, but I also haven't had a cervical check to confirm or deny that. Basically, I am of no help to you, lol, but I'm excited to see where things go!

darn those measurements! I've been having tons of BH contractions and also increasing pelvic pressure the last few weeks, but no progress as per the cervix checks. I can't help but feel like maybe I'll end up as the atypical first-timer whose labor strikes out of nowhere, after having not been at all dilated beforehand. Maybe you will be, too!

Ditto to the bolded.

I've been having tons of pressure and some BHs... but I was only HALF a fingertip dilated at my appointment.

I had a lot of BHs during my first pregnancy and I remember them getting much stronger during the last weeks. Many FTMs dont' dilate before labor though and sometimes you can have BHs for many months and not get anywhere. Either way, your body is practicing, which will always be helpful for when you do go into labor
