at only 11 weeks, it seems early! But since I have not heard a heartbeat or anything yet, it was a VERY good surprise! I was lying on the couch and thought I felt something, then I felt a roll sort of movement and a kick!!!!! No doubt about it. I cried a little.

what a wonderful gift today!!

Oh wow, congrats! The first movement is so special. I'm glad you were able to feel it so clearly.

On another note, I had no idea you could feel it that early! That is amazing.

Great news! I remember both my OB and my midwives said that with 2nd pregnancies sometimes you will feel as early as 9 weeks, which is when baby starts to be able to move. I felt this baby right around 11 weeks too!

can they even actually kick at 11 weeks? Seems so odd. It felt like a kick, but I guess it could have been something else. Oh well, whatever it was, I loved it. I've been super sick and I'm showing, so there is no doubt things are happening in there, but it was my first "real" confirmation that there is an actual real live baby in there.

That's awesome! I am jealous! I'm 14 weeks today and pregnant with my 3rd and have yet to feel movement! I lay still every night before bed and in the morning before I get up hoping to feel something. One of these days hopefully!

Awww, that's fantastic!!! I didn't feel obvious kicks until my 14th week (started feeling butterflies by my 11th week, but no kicks). And you're right, it is sooo amazing!! I'm so happy for you! Feeling the baby move is the best reassurance.

How awesome!!! I felt Oliver at 11w too. It was clearly a baby moving and not gas.

Aw that's wonderful! I felt the tiniest movement at 10 1/2 weeks and this is my first - so I don't think it's too early! (it felt like a bumble bee - now it feels like - well a baby!)
