am I in for torture or what!!??? ;-)
Seriously. I am a little depressed, 4 days away from my due date with a bad cold. I feel this may make things 10 times harder than they already will be when going into labor. I am mad/sad/discouraged. Any advice????

actually it's pretty common to get a cold just before you're birth day comes. It's usually gone by the time you go into labor. make sure you get tons of rest, vit C and fluids.

raw garlic is my favorite cold remedy, it boosts your immune system. You can swallow it in tiny pieces like pills. Make sure you have a nice full belly, it can give you a real belly ache and possibly make you throw up if you have an empty stomach.

feel better fast!

I bet you'll be feeling better before labor as well and if you don't I don't think you'll even be able to remember you have a cold in those moments. Labor has a way of making nothing else matter. Hope you're feeling better soon!

I had a horrible one the week before I went into labor with Lily, but was completely gone once her birth day came. Hope you feel better!

Reading the responses in this thread is making me suspicious of my recent stuffy/drippy nose... despite the fact that I don't feel like I'm going to give birth for months! haha
