I always get great suggestions from you ladies- so I thought I'd ask.

I'm already thinking about what I should be asking the OB that was there for my labor and pushing and eventual C-Section. (I posted my birth story a little while back but I labored for 18 hours with some HR issues from Amanda - getting up to 190 with some decels noticable from the very beggining. I got to push for 2 hours - I tried squating, on my back and both sides, but mostly on my left side since everything else seemed lead to de-cels and eventually that did too. I ended up with a C-Section. I was told the baby was sunny side up and the OB didn't think there was any way I would have gotten her out- she was pretty bruised up. She was only 7pounds 7 ounces though- so not big.)

I guess I just want to make sure in case she moves away- or I do or something that I get all of my questions answered at this follow up appointment. We don't know if we want to have another- but I just want to have the answers I would want to have if we decided to.

So, what would you want to know from the doctor???

Thanks!

get a copy of all your records. you may do this from the hospital. Find out incision type, placement, closure type. EBL (blood loss).

Ask her if she does VBAC, and if you'd be a good candidate. Take this with a grain of salt- if she doesn't offer vbac she'll prob say no. If she says you are a good candidate ask her to write that in your chart, and get a copy of that too.
