I just had the most amazing pedicure/foot rub type spa treatment. It was so relaxing and felt soo good. I was thinking this might be a great way to spend early labor. Then I wondered if there might be any problems w that.

Is there something I'm not thinking of that might make that a bad idea??

Boy does that sound heavenly right now! I think when my husband comes home I am going to treat myself with a few hours out alone!

I love pedis! I can't imagine that being a bad idea in early labor at all! Especially because I seem to remember there are pressure points around the ankles that can bring on ctx (someone correct me if I am mistaken though).

yes, you are not supposed to get foot rubs while pregnant for that exact reason. If you get a pedicure, you are supposed to avoid the foot rub part. It does sound heavenly right now though....

Yeah, I figure if I'm already in labor there won't be problems if they set off contractions. Lol. My feet feel so good. Now if only the rest of me didn't ache. Lol.

it is a wonderful way to try to get stalled labor back up, trying to start labor up if you are overdue, etc
