I'm too cranky to go into detail. Basically I'm developing pre-eclampsia. I gained tons of water weight, my blood pressure is high, and I have had headaches lately and saw some floaters today. So I'm in bed until my appointment on Saturday morning where they'll do a NST and strip me and try and get me into labor then. I asked her to strip me today and she said we would wait until Saturday, I don't know why, I was too thrown off guard with the high blood pressure to ask.

So that's my update. I'm so emotional and upset and tired of being pregnant and feeling like this baby is never coming out and I'll have to get induced in the hospital. I hate my life right now.

HUGE Hugs, Kristen. I can't imagine! I'm so sorry about the pre-e At least it wasn't bad enough that they induced you today! Sam could still come on his own! Is there anyway you can get acupuncture? I had it for my BP and it helped a TON and I'm sure they could do something about the headaches and of course induce labor! I'll pray it happens for you tonight!

Thanks. I'll see what happens Saturday. I just have to get through tomorrow, off my feet. My appointment is early Saturday morning. We'll just take it from there.

BIG BIG hugs.

I'm sending you all the labor vibes I have. I know from experience that time feels like it's going backward when you're past 40 weeks. I went to 40 week 6 days and I was afraid I'd have to go another year the way I felt. My water broke the day before my doctor was going to strip my membranes, so I'm hoping the same happens to you.

HUGS HUGS HUGS again.

ugh! Pump your protein WAY WAY up. Eat as much protein as you can. Do you like cottage cheese? Dice up some almonds in it too.

Hang in there girl....get Ben to give you a long foot massage!!

I'm so sorry! Try to stay on your left side to keep your BP down and if you can take a bath and submerge yourself in water, that helps too. I hope you go into labor before your appt on Saturday! I'm sending you TONSSSS of ELVS!!!!

I am sorry I could have written your post when I had Matthew. I went through the same thing. It SUCKS. I got to the point where it was no longer floaters and instead I was seeing flashing lights.

As soon as I had Matthew it all resolved.

You need: a warm bath. a massage. a glass of wine. two or three orgasms. nipple stimulation.

Even if it doesn't put you into labor, it could be fun.

good luck!!!
