I will start

I'm in my thirst trimester now! Had an appointment yesterday and everything looks super. Totally uneventful pregnancy so far and I couldn't be happier about that!! I'm up 17 lbs total. As of last month I was only up 6, and 2 of those were make up lbs I lost at the beginning. I was SO confused about how I had only gained 6 lbs. 17 is much better considering how along I am. Baby is very active, head down and I'm measuring right on target. I've still only heard the heartbeat very very faintly, but she said that next month I should be able to hear it nice and strong. Those fetalscopes are tricky things!

Our insurance is for sure covering the home birth, 70%. This is amazing to me! Our plan is actually out of Texas, and they cover home birth, so we got lucky! We didn't even have to be sneaky about anything.

I have a TON of energy these past few months. I'm kind of a low energy person in general, so this is a nice change of pace. It allows me to keep up with Cadie and the house, which is nice. Overall I feel really good, a bit sore at night if I do too much during the day, but that's to be expected I guess.

I'm sleeping really well thanks to staying busy during the day, Cadie skipping naps most days, the hypnobabies and those lullaby muffins.

how is everyone else?

I'm 28 weeks on Sunday and I'm starting to look more pregnant finally which I'm happy about. I'm still very comfortable with very few complaints. I feel so fortunate to have had such an easy pregnancy so far and I hope it stays that way!

I have gained way too much weight but my doctors haven't said much about it and it doesn't seem to be causing any problems so far. I passed my 1 hour glucose test! And I'm assuming my blood pressure is still good as they haven't even mentioned it at my appointments and it's always fine at home. I was wondering today if Hypnobabies would help women with high blood pressure. I'm thinking it would. It would be an interesting study.

And I'm almost done with week 2 of Hypnobabies and I love it! So glad I decided to do it. I said something at my appointment on Tuesday about it and the doctor seemed pleased that I had a plan since I wanted to have a natural birth so that was good. They also scheduled the rest of my appointments! I have another ultrasound (at the peri's office) on the 27th to check the fluid in Vincent's kidneys and then starting May 18th (32 weeks) I'll go back to my OB every week for appointments and ultrasounds to monitor his growth.

I'll be 39 weeks on Sunday and I can't believe it! I had an appointment with one of my midwives yesterday. I'm up 29 pounds and everything still looking good. I asked for an internal exam because I'd been have several light contractions every day. I'm 3 cm and 60% effaced. I know that's still no guarantee of going into labor in the next few days, but it's exciting to think that I'm almost there!

I am feeling pretty good. I am 38.4 weeks. Just getting really anxious to meet our baby, I want to know if we have a boy or girl. I am feeling sort of crampy and cranky but don't really complain too much. Last appt. I was 2.5 cm dilated and 50% effaced so that is exciting. I know it doesn't mean much but exciting!

I"m 31w4d. I'm up 11lbs as of this past Monday, although I feel HUGE. My belly is big actually, but I started out overweight.

I'm feeling okay....I was off this week and my mom and I got a lot done around the house. I had to clean out all of ds2's clothes (stillbirth in April 09 at 40w...the clothes I had for him were all hidden in various places around the house..but this babe is a girl so we needed to make room). I have things ready to wash for new baby which I'll do in a couple weeks and I purged a lot of ds1's toys to make room. Also organized his dresser to free up 2 drawers for his sister's things.

Physically, I feel TONS of pressure in my lower back, sometimes rectum and many times right on my cervix. I think baby stretches or something and her head hits it...also she punches it lol...I only know this because her brothers did the same thing...its only momentary but it feels like baby is going to fall right out. I feel like I'm farther along than 31wks. Also because of the stillbirth we are delivering between 37 and 39wks so I only have 5-7w left which I'm thrilled about. I have been pregnant for the last 21months with only a 5month break in between...and I still have no baby. So I am just ready to be done.

I'm just about 15 weeks. I'm up 3 lbs. I have a bit of a belly starting too. I'm bored though... this pregnancy is getting long lol.
Everything was going smoothly till today. The all day sickness made a suprise appearance after been gone for weeks. Ugh i was kissing my dh one moment. Projectile vomiting everywhere the next. Luckily DH got out of the way in time. Yuck....

I'm feeling good, I'll be 35 weeks tomorrow. My last day at work was yesterday, and I'm very relieved for that. I really need to work on getting my bedroom ready for me and my baby girl now.

I'm 33 weeks this week and feeling really great! I can breathe a bit better, so I think maybe baby's dropped a little. He's head down LOA, so all is perfect there, I aim to keep him that way, no back labor for me this time!

I'm in the last week of hypnobabies, then I start the maintenance schedule. I love it! I'm also just about all done everything for the baby, clothes in the drawers, diapers washed and put away, the sheets are even on his bed already! I guess I just have to pack our bags and pick up some disposable diapers for the hospital and I'll be done..

Oh, aside from the small problem of not having a name for this child yet!!!

I will be 28 weeks on Monday. Things are going well. I have no idea how much weight I've gained... I guess I'll find out on Monday. I'm guessing around 15lbs, but not sure. We're pretty sure that this little girl has a name; she's going to be Avery Kathleen.

I'm just getting over a stomach bug, so still feeling a little run down from barely eating Wednesday or Thursday. I'm concentrating on drinking as much water as possible & still eating stomach friendly things. I'm a little jealous of Cheryl's extra energy... mine is no where to be found. Usually, I'm totally up for working all day & then playing with my little man when I get home. This has not been the case during this pregnancy. I could be in bed at 7-730 with Ethan.

well we are almost to 22 weeks now! Found out we are having another boy so that's exciting I've officially gained 1lb lol, but I had a few to spare definitely look quite pregnant at this point. Little man is jumping all around in there making his presence known all day and half the night. Still dealing wit nausea and puking occasionally. Kind of irritating for that to still be happening but whatever.

I am taking progesterone injections weekly to prevent preterm labor and cervical length scan this week showed my cervix over 3.5cm long still so no worries yet! Having a couple of contractions a day that kinda take my breath away but nothing real intense or scary yet. Baby weighs 15oz now and is measuring perfectly. My midwife and I are feeling good that I will make it to full term and be able to have my HBAC.

another thing! I am going to start taking prenatal belly dancing classes and am going to start a series on "birthing from within" so that's exciting!

I'll be 17 weeks on Sunday. I've only gained about 6lbs, but have plenty to spare. Carrying twins, so from here out I should probably gain about a pound a week.

Watching my sugar just to be on the safe side, and as soon as the sheet arrives with what makes up a serving (how many grapes equals a fruit, for example), I'll be all set to follow the diet the WIC nutritionist gave me. I'm actually looking forward to it.

Watching my blood pressure - chronic hypertension and on meds for it. Seems to be doing okay, but is creeping up a little as I enter the second trimester.

And I'm having episodes where I get lightheaded and feel like I'm going to pass out in the shower. I just posted a rant about this in my DDC. NOT normal for me, but it does seem to be due to just being pregnant (with twins). My mom passed out while pregnant all the time, with every single one of her pregnancies. It's just scary for me because the ONLY time I've ever passed out was when they overdosed me on my bp meds when preg with my second - and I seized. Scary stuff.

SO I'm kinda freaked out, but I realize in my head it's probably "all normal" and am going to talk to the doc at my appt on Thurs about how badly it freaks me out (when I totally don't get freaked out in pregnancy) and if I can prevent it and/or make it better if it does happen.

I have tons of questions about being pregnant - and the labor and delivery - with twins. I've only had the ONE ob appt, and that's when we found out - only a week and a half ago now. So, I've lots of Q's for the doc, more about what his thoughts and plans are than questions about what happens or what is different. That much I can research on my own. LOL

Sorry so long - I just got out of the shower and am in freak-out mode at the moment. LOL

I'm 19 1/2 weeks, so almost to the half way mark! YAY! I found a homebirth Midwife, and I LOVE her! So that is very exciting to me! I've had one appointment with her, and will have monthly appt until 32 weeks, at which point we start bi-weekly, and then at 36 weeks, she starts weekly home visits. Just hoping insurance decides to cover it!

At my last appt I was measuring 2 weeks behind, so I'll be interested to see if I've caught up since then, or if my due date is off(?).

I've gained about 12-14lbs already! But I don't feel like it at all! I'm just now starting to get a little baby bump. I seem to eat *constantly*, but I'm still nursing quite a bit(though I have noticed a drop in my supply). I started this pregnancy 18lbs lighter than my last, so not sure if that could have something to do with it

Over all, I've been feeling GREAT! I never got sick, and my energy levels are picking back up! I'm very grateful, since I have BE to look after this time!

I'll be 35 weeks on Tuesday. Baby is low and ready to go! I don't really think she will come very early though. So I will just be miserable for the next several weeks because she keeps rubbing her head on my cervix or punching me in the groin! lol

I think we have most of our life in order for her to come. I still have to get some things together for the birth. There are just some little projects not directly related to baby that I want done. Not sure when any of it is going to get done. I usually do one big project every week and half and then spend the next week recovering. I also found out my mom is coming up to spend a few days so she can come to my baby shower. I totally excited about seeing her, but that also bumps up my timeline a bit for some of the things!

Im 27 weeks plus 1 day today I have been having a pretty uneventful pregnancy this time around, which is good for sure Iwith my last one I had a partial previa and some bleeding...
Anyhow the only complaint I really have is that I have been having a lot of pubic symphysis (sp?) pain. I have been to the chiro twice this past week for that and it has made a huge difference!!

Hi everyone... i haven't checked in her in a while, but figured I should!

I'm 33 weeks today actually and feeling pretty decent. I went through a whole spurt of nesting a couple weeks back, but now that insane amount of energy has disappeared. Well it hasn't completely disappeared, I'm still managing to keep up with my 3 little girls, so thats the most important thing.

Baby boy is doing well, pretty sure we have a name, but I'm not certain yet. I've been seeing my midwives every other week and will have 2 more appts like that before we start weekly home visit appointments. I've decided on using the Birth Pool in a Box as our tub, just gotta get DH to figure it out. I've got my birth kit pretty much stocked, just need a few more supplies.

I am 27 weeks tomorrow and starting to fee pretty pregnant. I notice my belly getting in the way when I do normal household stuff now. I love that the baby has more predictable awake patterns, it's always fun to wake up to kicking and rolling - I know I will miss that in a few months. We don't have much to do to get ready for the baby - rooms have been rearranged and the kids are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their new brother or sister (so far all the kids are hoping for another sister).

I'm nearly 35 weeks now, and I'm finally starting to feel uncomfortable and exhausted. I've been doing really well up until about last week... a couple weeks ago I was cleaning the house like mad, feeling light on my feet, not having any problems at all really. Now... I have this pinch in my lower back that hurts (and I'm seeing a chiropractor, but it's still bugging me). I can't sleep at night - insomnia. I'm having contractions all day and all night, which makes me have to PEE so bad. I'm still working full-time and I'm just... tired. Work isn't even all that hard, physically. But still.

I'm noticing that my nesting has shifted from house-cleaning to now just sinking into myself, reading all my books about labor and birth and breastfeeding, planning all the baby's stuff, and really not giving a fig about anything else.

I have no idea when she's going to come... but I'm so looking forward to actually going into labor naturally and getting to meet her.

Cheryl:

Right, that isn't French at all! You nut!

We're wavering between Liam and Jack this week. I like Aidan, but Steeve hates it. Mia wants us to name him Vito, which is totally out of the question! Something will click eventually.

You should spell Vivian the French way, in honor of your heritage...Viviane
