since yesterday morning, i have been having small "gushes" of fluid come out. i can't even call it a gush, because most of the time i don't feel it, i just end up with wet panties. i thought it was watery discharge or maybe even pee... but just a while ago i was standing up talking to a coworker and FELT it come out. and it definitely didn't feel like pee. i have on a panty liner, so i couldn't really tell how much came out. maybe a teaspoon.
anyway, i have a very close family members funeral to go to in a couple hours and by the time it's over, the birthing center will be closed. i have an appointment tomorrow morning at 10am. do you think i will be fine to wait until my appointment tomorrow to get it checked?
i won't stick anything up there and won't take any baths.
I went and saw my MW this morning and it wasn't amniotic fluid. So yay for that!! I had a feeling it wasn't, but wanted to get checked so I could put my mind at ease.
Anyway, while she was down there doing the check for fluid, she blurted out info about my cervix that I had absolutely NO desire to know. She said "you are still pretty thick and about 1cm".
GRRRRR!!!! I should have asked her not to tell me since she really didn't know that I wasn't interested in knowing. Too late now...

You could have a leak in your water from the side, not the bottom, so it's not leaking all the time and just comes out when you move. I'd go with your gut, stay very hydrated and continue on, unless it gets worse.
You could always call your midwife and explain it to her to get a second opinion. GL and sorry for your loss!
