I'm so stoked! My husband was on call for his job yesterday, he is an IT guy. His company has a retail store and they were "having issues" with their printer. But anyway we decided to drive the 45 mins to Tacoma together as a fam and then figure out something to do down there when he was done. His company sells used books online so their store is a used book store. I needed to get some books for the PP Doula course I'm taking in October. On Amazon w/o shipping the subtotal was like $80. I was able to find 3 books at the store and then 2 other I just wanted (Spiritual Midwifery and The Womanly Art of BF'ing) all for $12 and change!! I am so surprised there were so many natural birth/pregnancy/BF'ing books there!

Anyway, now I have a ton of reading to do before October 2nd!

He used to be way more involved with the retail side of things and was running these "tent sales" all across the country. So he used to get the books for free. You should see our bedroom! We need at least 3 book shelves for all the books he has brought home. Not to mention the kids books he brought home! It's a really neat perk of his job... altough his actual job kind of stinks!

I love getting new books, we buy alot from garage sales around here and I am a huge reader. We have two huge bookcases with another one probably boxed up. I had to make a rule that if you don't think you will read it again it gets donated or else the books take over even with my library membership.

My books were taking over too. I ended up boxing up abour 85% of my collection and taking them to the half price book store where I traded them in on baby books for DH and myself. Now I can go trade those in for some new reading!

That is a really awesome deal! I will have to keep an eye out for good deals on books like that!
