Anyone have any suggestions on books to read so you know what to expect during labor and delivery? I want to know everything so that I know what is going on with my body through the process in hopes that I will be less tense/stressed and fearful and hoping that will lead to less pain.

I haven't checked out the list yet, but Active Birth by Janet Balaskas should be required reading for all preggos. It totally goes into the science of how our bodies SHOULD work during labor and delivery and how meds/interventions really throw it all off. Awesome book.
