Hi ladies, my name is Jamie I'm 26 and DH Gerrit is 29. We are expecting our first and they are boy/ girl twins!!!! We are super excited since we had trouble getting pregnant. I just wanted to introduce myself because I am praying that I can have a natural twin birth. I want to learn everything I can to make that happen and I have been told that you ladies are great. Is there anyone on here now that has had or is trying to have a natural twin birth? Thanks ladies!

Congrats and welcome!!! One of my best friends delivered TWO sets of twins naturally. She struggled with finding a doctor who would support it, but she did and has absolutely no regrets about it!

Big welcome to the NCB board! You are in the right place to find lots of support! Congratulations are you two blessings- how exciting. There is a fabulous subforum here with suggestions on reading and the such. It's a great place to start for NCB research.

I think women have a real challenge finding places and midwives/doctors that will "allow" them to deliver twins vaginally. It isn't totally unheard of, but you have a lot of policies to deal with. What do you know about your caregiver and the hospital's stance and policy regarding vaginal birth?

As far as what my doc said If baby A (the girl) is head down I can have a vaginal birth. SO I am praying for that!!!! I have to have all the things in place just in case I have to have baby b as a c-section. My ideal plan is to labor in the birthing tub (they won't let me deliver in it) then move to the bed to deliver the babies. I want NO meds. I know there are so many things that could go wrong and my plan could go down the tubes but I'm just praying!

i think it's so awesome that you want to try for an NCB! i feel like a lot of moms with twins people don't even consider it an option.
