So saturday night into sunday morning.... i just didn't feel right. I felt antsy and around 2am started contracting. They were mild, just like BH but frequent. I tried reading, taking a bath, any thing to get me to sleep... nothin doing. I threw up, I cried (from hormones and tired). Finally i took a benedryl and was able to sleep a couple hours. (at this point it was 10am and i slept till noon)
The contractions continued all day. The started getting farther apart, but more and more intense. By 10pm they stalled out completely. I was disappointed thinking i was finally moving in the direction of labor.
I went to bed and slept a merciful 6 1/2 hours... then the contractions started again. They seem worse today. It's just frustrating. I don't want to get to excited only to have things stall out again. I know women can go on like this for days to weeks.
I'm trying to make sure i eat, drink, and sleep. Its difficult though. I seem to throw up every time i eat anything of substance.

Sounds like you need to do some heavy housecleaning! When I started having contractions with my son, I had a long prodromal labor, so I ran up and down my basement stairs doing laundry and washed my kitchen floor by hand. He came the next morning.

Hope he comes soon for you!

((((hugs))) nothing has 'stalled out'. You are just getting a rest - enjoy it
Your water hasn't broken, you're not at 42 weeks with some crazy doc breathing down your neck. Take your time - baby will come. This is 'real' labour - just real early labour. All the work your body does now is less it has to do later. You are doing good!!!
Trust birth, trust yourself, trust your baby, trust your body! You can do it!

Enjoy the breaks. I went 74 hours with contractions 2-4 minutes apart. It royally sucked!

Nothing doing! lol. The usual BH, but thats it. Suddenly my belly feels too heavy to carry around, i've taken to wearing a maternity belt around the house. Sooooo comfortable lol. Hopefully holding him up with a belt won't prevent him from dropping and coming out!

I have a doc appt tomorrow. Curious if that day of contractions made any progress on my cervix. Though i know thats really no indication of when labor will begin.
