I'm now 2cm, 80% effaced, and at -1 station. My doctor was excited that he seems to have dropped. Apparently last week she was NOT stripping my membranes, but trying to feel for his head, but he was REALLY high. Today was back to the normal painless exam because he dropped back down.
I could tell yesterday he was moving down.
Of course all of this doesn't mean anything in the great scheme of things. My doctor even said, "you know what this means right?" And i replied "Absolutely nothing." "Bingo" she says.
Yay! That's great his head is back in there, too. Levi backed out one week and I had an exam similar to what you had. Super uncomfortable, then she stopped searching, so she didn't do anything I didn't want her to. Sounds like things are moving in the right direction now.
