I'm 35w2d and haven't had any breast changes since way back in first trimester. Well, i have had darkening and a bit of nipple enlargememt. I'm just wanting a sign that when the baby is born I will be able to breastfeed! Anyone else have no signs then successfully BC?
Thank you GraysMama for my amazing siggy!

I barely noticed any changes with mine & have BFed two kids. Other than size, mine don't really change after the baby is born either. Relax, chances that you won't be able to BF are very, very small. I even know a few Mommies who have successfully BFed after breast surgery (both reduction & augmentation).
I never really had breast changes.... a little fuller, a little darker aereola. I do get wicked engorged after my milk comes in, but that is not exactly ideal, lol. The strangest thing to me is that once your supply evens out your boobs feel kind of empty.... but yet there's still plenty of milk in there! They're miraculous things.
My friend was pregnant the same time as me and my boobs just grew and grew and grew during pregnancy and she was really concerned that hers did not. Never fear, after her DD was born, her breast grew like 5 sizes and made up for it I would not worry about it.
yeah i wouldnt worry, breast size can be totally irrelevant to milk production and i am a very good example! My boobs are an A-B cup up until birth, i barely change at all but then after delivery - BOOM, i jump to like a D overnight, i have such a ridiculous amount of milk that last time i actually had to put cabbage leaves on my boobs to reduce the amount i was producing so that the baby could latch, i had so much milk that i was rock hard with engorgement and latching was really difficult. I have no idea why some people overproduce, but i had no signs of overproducing in pregnancy, no breast changes really, no leaking colostrum, nothing!
The power and intensity of your contractions cannot be stronger than you, because it is you~ Unknown ~
I'm an A cup and never change during or after pregnancy. But, I am still able to breastfeed, it's a lot of work for me but I'm making it work. You can do it. Breast changes don't necessarily mean anything.
