I know it's all from pregnancy hormones, but holy COW! My inner subconscious is doing a great job of laying ALL my biggest fears pertaining to pregnancy and birth out on the table for me!

three times I have had these dreams (always in this order)

The first dream, I am in the hospital for some reason (hugely pregnant, but I don't know if I go in because I am in labor or what..) and then BAM I wake up and I have a baby...I have no recollection of the birth, and am convinced that I am still pregnant, and then randomly i am walking around the hospital holding a baby girl with my midwife who is YELLING at me telling me its all my fault it happened - because I was demanding the epidural, etc. and had a weird reaction that basically put me to sleep w/o general.

i always wake up there..then when i fall asleep it goes into me at home with my doula and sam (planning for a homebirth) and then i start yelling at sara (doula) and she texts my CNM (The one i see now) and my CNM is like oh she's in transition, ill be right there...and then she comes and does a c-section on me in my living room with no analgesia at all...it's totally horrifying!!

i can't remember if this craziness lasts the whole pregnancy, or if they go away with the first trimester?

LOL- unfortunately I remember having them all during my last pregnancy. The most prevalent one was me misplacing the baby. I would lay him down and then turn around and he would be gone.
Happy to report I have yet to 'lose' CJ.

I have been having crazy dreams the last few nights.. Last night I woke up yelling stop it! Stop it! Get away. I woke up and my cat was sleeping right under my chin, I was so angry at at him in my half awakeness so I think he contributed to that one. I woke up the other night convinced that there was someone trying to break into our room (Second story bedroom, DH has been sleeping downstairs because we both sleep better) Since that night I have to have DH sleep with me or I am terrified of who know what.. I woke DH up yelling "There shinning laser pointers in here and it is lighting up the whole room!" I don't even remember this one..I haven't had many pregnancy nightmares after the first trimester.

I usually have them throughout my whole pregnancies. Dreams can seem so real too and so disturbing. Last night I dreamed that I had a successful home birth and was breastfeeding my baby when I realized that I didn't check to see the sex of my baby but I already knew it was a girl. She started crying A LOT and then the crying became some sort of squealing, I looked down and my baby was a piglet. I was disappointed because I thought that it would be really hard to bond with a pig like I could with a baby. LOL!

Mine have tamed down the last few weeks. My crazy ones weren't baby related - but they included flying baby alligators and adopting a basset hound at KOHL'S! Oh, and then there was the dream where all my co-workers and I were going to counseling because we were too stressed by our job, and our Manager thought it might make us less cranky! LOL

I hope that they calm down for you!
