Hi ladies, I will be lurking and posting for the next nine months (hopefully). I am only at five weeks, so we are cautiously hopeful. I had two natural births so far... big boys, 10 lbs 11 oz, and 9 lbs 3 oz. . I will definitely go for it again with this birth. I had positive hospital births(although the second was way better than the first), first with a Dr., and the second with a CNM. One of my birth stories was posted in Sept. of 08, and I think you can still read it.
My name is Willow, age 38. I am a part-time school librarian, and my husband and I run a small farm in NE CT. We are both teachers, so we are thrilled about our June 17th due date. I love this board, and I look forward to being around for the next nine months!

Thanks for the welcome. I do plan another hospital birth as both were positive experiences.
What sort of farming do you do?
We are currently raising turkeys for Thanksgiving (24) and broiler chickens as well as eggs, veggies, and maple sap (which we sell) and maple syrup (small scale). We try to grow and save a lot of our own food.
We are totally into sustainable living and living lightly as best we can. We are super psyched to be going solar at the end of November.
