This is a well-written article (I skimmed it, but I see some good information in it) and I see a lot of my non-natural birthing mamas sharing it on Facebook, so it seems to be getting a lot of people's attention. I thought I would share!

I agree with a lot of these! Especailly the monitor. Never would have made it constantly monitored. It was my doula that prodded me to ask if i could have it off. The nurse was going to tell me no... until she looked at my chart and realized it was ordered as intermittent.
What a great article. I would love to share it with my DDC but we just had a quite heated discussion on induction etc.... I don't think my pro natural birth views have made me very popular with a few of them.
