Hey ladies, my life is so stress filled right now, I just need to take a small break from the board- maybe not totally but I do need maybe a week of not feeling like I need to be here as host. I have been dealing with a flea issue with our pets for like 2 months now, trying to eliminate it naturally and having a tough time because of my cat and her thick long hair. Apparently it has really gotten to me because I came down with shingles. I fell down the stairs last week with Vivian, and now Cadie has a fever from teething- I thought she was done but I guess her molars are not totally in. Then today I got my first PPP! Add to that my husband getting his masters while working full time too and my life is just so hectic I can't see straight. I don't want to step down but I am considering it. I need a little time to think.
I probably will respond to some posts over the next week but I need a breather from the guilt of not being around enough. Hope that is OK. I love hosting the board but maybe it is time to let someone else. I don't know.
I am glad you are taking a break! You are doing the right thing. There is no sense in pushing yourself so hard and it sounds like your family really needs you. Also, in case you haven't heard a chiro can help with the shingles... the fall down the stairs could have gotten you out of alignment and is causing problems. I hope you get some rest... NO FEELING GUILTY ALLOWED!
I actually had to cancel my chiro appointment today because Cadie is all feverish. I was thinking that fall probably messed me up, but I had the shingles before then. I had it about a week before I knew what it was, thought it was flea bites. My own husband didn't recognize it and he's been to medical school!
Awwww... I hope you're feeling better. You can always vent to us without being Ms Host. Don't worry about us; we can amuse ourselves.
Ugh, I can't imagine how miserable you are with the shingles! The chicken pox put me in the hospital for 3 days.... I'm still traumatized. All joking aside; take care of yourself & get your family well.
