Do any of you do kegal exercises? Have you found it helped in childbirth?

To me, it would seem like having strong muscles in that area would really help with assisting in the process of labour/pushing.

I am just starting to research this, so I don't know a heck of a lot about how much of a benefit it would be to start the exercises.

Does anyone have any experience they would like to share?

I have always done kegels on a regular basis. My pc muscle is very strong.

I honestly believe that the strength in my pc muscle assisted me in both my deliveries. Both my boys were 9lbs and I pushed them out without a problem. It also helped me tighten up pp.

I never remember to do kegals, and I never had issues with either delivery. That, and I read this article awhile back: Mama Sweat: Pelvic Floor Party: Kegels are NOT invited.

I don't really remember if they helped with delivery. I think actually doing them after the majority of my immediate post partum healing helped though.

I don't know if it really helped with delivery, but I know they're good to do just to keep those muscles strong. Some people who don't do them end up peeing when they sneeze after baby, since those muscles are so weak. I do them whenever I remember, but I forget a lot!
