i will be 36 weeks tomorrow...i know i can start taking EPO but i don't want to go early. i mean, i know i won't go into labor till my body is ready, but my daughter's b-day was less than 2 weeks ago so i want the biggest space i can get between the 2 b-day's. i DO want to start getting my body ready though. i am not uncomfortable so i'm not desperate to get baby out or anything...
so should i just go ahead and start taking it? i would probably just start taking it orally at this point, and maybe start taking it vaginally next week when i am 37 weeks.
i know i sound like an idiot, i'm just looking for some feedback i guess. haha

I started 1,000 mg orally at 36 weeks and then added 1,000 mg vaginally at 38 weeks. EPO is just a prostaglandin that helps to soften and prime your cervix, it definitely won't put you into labor if your body isn't ready.

I started taking I think it was either 2,000 or 3,000mg at 34 weeks (because I was being threatened with induction at 38wks)... at 37 6days I increased to 4,000mg orally... my water broke on its own at 38 weeks....

I don't think it had anything to do with the EPO but my daughter being ready...

Ditto. I'm pretty sure I may be one of the few that's not in a rush! I'm planning on starting it orally at 37 and vaginally at 38 weeks. If I go into labor prior to 37 weeks I can't deliver at the birth center, so I'm not taking any chances.
