I'm just looking for comparisons! I know they say it's not a true sign of labor unless it's bloody and that it can regenerate, etc. but I've been paranoid about her coming before 37 weeks and not being able to deliver at the birth center.

I thought I lost part of mine this morning, but wasn't convinced. But every time I've gone to the bathroom since, there's been more. It's completely clear so I'm not overly worried about it, I just want her to stay in!!! I've got my 34 week appointment tomorrow so I'm going to mention it to my midwife.

STAY IN KENNEDY!!!! At least give me another 3 or so weeks!!!

With my first, I didn't lose it until I was pushing, and I was dilated 2-3cm before labor. With my second, I started losing it around 36 weeks and continued to until I had her (40w3d).

Just an FYI- the mucous plug can regenerate! So you won't necessarily be going into labor tomorrow or anything.

I lost mine at 36ish weeks and didn't go into labor until 38 weeks on the dot. I felt like I was contracting for weeks and weeks before that, so don't be too surprised if you do start feeling more contractions here and there.

I lost mine on the morning of February 4th. It was not white or clear, but more of a yellowish/ brownish/ blood streaked color (maybe even a little green-tinged ) and came out over several trips to the bathroom/ pretty big amounts of mucous each time.

I didn't go into prodromal labor for almost a week (February 10th) and didn't start hard labor until the night of the eleventh. My son was born super early morning of February 13th. Mucous plugs can grow back and can also shed some time before actual labor begins.

I hope Kennedy stays in there until thirty-seven weeks!

Ditto!!! That's just gross!! My friend is an OB ARNP and I was telling her about it tonight. She was asking me all kinds of details and I said, "Want me to take a picture next time???"

With Phelix, I lost it 4 hours before my first contractions/labour starting.
With Noah, I lost part of it when the midwife did an internal - I was 6cm!
With Isaac, I think it came out at birth

With Kieron I have no idea, it must have came out during labor. With Callum I had bloody show from the beginning of labor until he came out.

Mine started coming out in bits around 30 weeks. I knew it could regenerate...but it was always a bunch! Lol. I somehow was not worried though, because I was convinced I would be giving birth past my due date. He came at 36 weeks, after having a blood show two days prior.

I never lost mine before labor. In fact, nothing at all happened to me until the day before I went into labor.
