Hi ladies,

Just wondering when your babies came. If your little ones came late... did you have a long cycle, etc?

If you ended up being induced, please specify.

I went into labor with Elizabeth on the evening of 41 weeks 6 days and had her at 42 weeks. I do have long cycles, but since I chart I knew exactly when I ovulated.

Both of mine were born 37w5d, spontaneous rupture of membranes, followed immediately by labor.

I didnt vote for my induction since it wasnt spontaneous.

DD2 was almost 40 weeks 5 days.
DS was 38 weeks 6 days although I think my EDD was a week off so he was really 37 weeks. (voted 38 wks)

39w 4d she was born BUT based on my calculations she was technically born on her "due date" based on ovulation and not LMP.

Per my LMP, he was born at 36 weeks, 6 days. Completely spontaneously. NICU doc said he was likely not quite that far along, which made sense because I had no idea when I ovulated. I was not regular at the time.

I spontaneously went into labor two days past my due date. If I went by my LMP, I was technically 4 days past, but we adjusted my due date because of his growth. I have a normal cycle (I guess?)

I calculated my EDD as July 12 (based on ovulation) and the u/s gave a due date of July 11. I went into labor on July 11 and Vincent was born at 3 AM on July 12. So right "on time".

I think I voted wrong... I said 40 weeks, but it says with in "x" weeks right? So I guess two of my three were born within the 41st week.

Kaily was born 2 days after her EDD. It was based on my LMP. So on time!

Kelly I was induced a few days before his EDD. I have to admit it was an elective induction but my mom was facing urgent surgery for what turned out to be ovarian cancer. She lives out of state and I just couldn't imagine her not meeting her grandson before she headed into that surgery and subsequent chemo treatment.

Kate was born exactly at 41 weeks.

I put down 42 weeks or later. I had him - according to the wheel - at 41+5, which isn't IN the 41st week, so I wasn't sure exactly where to put it. But, according to ovulation, I was 42+4. I don't have long cycles, but I ovulated earlier than day 14.

thanks for all your votes/replies. My intention of "in week 39" would include 39 weeks all the way to 39+6. So I am thinking you voted right? Sorry it was confusing!

Mine were:

40 weeks - induced - no reason
40 weeks - induced - no reason
40 weeks - water leaked, labored on own
37 weeks - water broke, pitocin after 12 hours of no labor
35 weeks - water broke, pitocin after no labor
35 weeks - water broke, pitocin after no labor
38+ weeks - water broke, pitocin (didn't wait for labor that time)

I hate the whole '12 hour' policy and if I deliver in the hospital again, this time I will not be reporting rupture until at least 24 hours.

I didn't vote because I was induced for pre-e/PIH at 37 and 38 weeks respectively.

No idea when this baby will come!!!

Beau was born in week 37. Charlie was born 3 days before his due date. Both labors were spontaneous, but with Charlie I think that the OB swept my membranes at my last check-up without telling me.

I have no clue whatsoever about my cycles. Periods have always been irregular, so dating for both EDD's has been by early ultrasound.

Both of mine were born in the 40th week, spontaneous labors. My first was 40w5d by LMP, but I had charted and she was right on her due date according to ovulation. My second DD was 40w3d and that was my due date based on ovualtion (if I had gone by LMP, she probably would have been 41-some weeks, since I usually ovulate 5 days late).

My DS was born at 38 weeks and some odd days. My water broke spontaneously, but no contractions. After 10 hours with no contractions, pitocin was started.

DS was born at 39w5d. I had mild pre-e and was standing my ground against an induction when my water finally broke. DS was born 12 hours after water breaking.

DS was born at 36 weeks by u/s and in the 37th week according to my last LMP

DD was born at 36 weeks as well spontaneous labor, my water broke at home.

I have a feeling this one will be here sooner rather than later.

My first two were inductions for "post-dates" at 42 and 41 weeks.
Hunter came on his own and 42 weeks 3 days. My cycles run 27-35 days but I generally ovulation by CD 14.
