Baby is doing good, FH measuring 42 weeks (surprise surprise ) and little stinker is completely facing FORWARD again, arg! So she told me to get an exercise ball and showed me some positions to sit in to try to encourage baby to turn around. My iron was 10.5 and it needs to be 11 so I'm supposed to increase my iron via diet a lot this week and we'll re-test next week. Had the GBS test today, she offered to do it and check me or said I could just go to the bathroom and do it myself. I have zero interest in cervical checks so I opt'd to do it myself.
Oh and I gained 5 pounds in 2 weeks. She was happy as I haven't gained much at all this pregnancy but holy cow that seems like a lot!
Overall, all was well, see her again in a week...
Sounds like a great appt!! And don't worry... I always gain a lot of weight the last few weeks too! I think it has to be mostly water weight, but its sad to see. It will be the first weight to fall off after delivery!
Sounds like a good appt! (other then the baby being forward!) I know how you feel about gaining 5 lbs in 2 weeks...the same happened to me back in the 2nd trimester. I was freaking out but my OB at the time thought that it was good! Just sounds more horrible then it really is.
I'm glad you had a good appt! My little bugger is posterior too, ugh! Not my favorite position after going through back labor last time. I also do the big weight jumps, my weight has gone up 2-3lbs in a week a few times, yikes!
I hope this baby doesn't hold out as long as your other ones and you are holding him/her soon!
