Which option are you opting for the birth of THIS baby.

Barring any circumstances (money, health, distance to travel, laws, etc..) which one WOULD you choose?

This will be my third homebirth.

I wouldn't do it any other way if I can help it!

Well I had to choose hospital birth. DH is too scared of a homebirth plus we didnt have the out of pocket money of a midwife and all that.

If there were one in the area I would have liked a birthing center. Its kinda middle ground between a homebirth and hospital so DH and I could both be happy but there are none in the area.

This one will be born at home. Third baby, third setting. #1 was hospital, #2 was birthing center, #3 will be at home.

I have had four hospiotal births and Ican't really complain about any of them esp the alst two. I was planning a homebirth for my last baby. UNfortunatly we moved from NH to ma in my 8 month. NH state insurance covers homebirth and MA doesn't. Thankfully I was able to get my old midwife to catch for me.

Wow its so neat to see so many home births. They just started them last year in Quebec but only with a midwife at a birthing center. I'm going to have one. This will be my first homebirth and my last child.....I'm so excited well we are. I can't wait I'm due in August.

I really wanted to do a birthing center or at home, because I really wanted to do a water birth. My insurance only covers hospitals and now I am considered high risk so I had to change which hospital I am delivering at to be at the one with the better equiped NICU

There is always next baby thought right.

My only option is a hospital, but I'd probably prefer a birthing center if they were available. Midwifery is very restricted here, so the hospital has no competition.

I am planning a home birth with my midwife. I can't see (myself) being comfortable any other way.
