When you bring it to the hospital, do you deflate it? Or just make DH carry it? I'm not sure why I can't wrap my head around this one.

Yep, either. I figure we'll just keep it inflated. Initially, I thought I'd use one at home and then let my doula bring hers deflated to the hospital. But she was all, oh I'll just carry it in....

Either should be fine. My hospital has them on hand so I guess I never had to think about it. They just built a new hospital here though so I guess I should think about it just in case they don't have them anymore...

My hospital had one so I did not have to bring one. Not sure about the birth center.

I would check with your hospital and see if they already have them available - you could skip bringing it entirely! Otherwise, whatever works best for you guys

I'd say it really depends on the hospital. I'm giving birth at a Military hospital, so I'm assuming I have to bring everything.... ^.^

My hospital has them in all their L&D rooms, so I didn't bring mine, just figured I would use theirs. But I delivered less than 10 minutes after arriving at the hospital, so I didn't have the chance!

I go pretty fast, so haven't needed to take one for me. But for my clients I always have one deflated in my doula bag. Most hospitals around here have them.

I say that, but it is currently inflated and sitting in the front seat of my Honda. Lol.
