I went in today for an u/s to confirm dates because my cycles have been so screwy. Jellybean is measuring right on schedule with a HB of 156. I couldn't help but smile. I go back in 2 weeks for blood draws and stuff
I have to start my Lovenox tomorrow, but at least this time its only once a day I don't look forward to giving myself shots again though, maybe I'll get DH to do it.
We went through the basic what to eat and what not and they wan't me to gain at least 10 pounds but no more then 30. I gained 12 with Harleigh so we shall see. I have decided this time around not to do the genetic screenings, because last time it was too much stress with my risk factor ratios they got. And I am going to try and convince my OB to let me eat jelly beans when its time for the glucose test instead of drinking the drink because I was so sick last time. My OB is already aware this is going to be an unmedicated birth and he is fully supportive, and surprisingly so is his partner in the office. I read all the bradley method books and Ina May's book last time, I am thinking about hypnobirth this time. Any suggestions?

you can just decline the GD test, if you feel comfortable with that.

Did you take an actual bradley class last time? I find the books pretty worthless, but the class is so amazing...the materials given and the built in support system you get as you bond with the other couples. I would totally recommend that. You would want to start around 25-26 weeks

I didn't take a bradley class last time because I felt uncomfortable spending that kind of money when I wasn't working. Ryan and I have a lot to talk about regarding what we are going to do this time.

And I am so down for declining the GD test. If they insist I take it I'll eat the jelly beans instead. I was sick for days afterwards when I was pregnant with Harleigh and I can't do that this time when I'll have a toddler to run after.
