Well now that I have passed my 3 hour glucose test and am in the clear (so far) for a midwifery birth. We have been seeing the midwives since about 12 weeks. I really did not like how I was treated by my OB so it was an easy decision for me to switch providers. This is our miracle baby and I want everything to go as smoothly as possible as this may be my only pregnancy. She is our IVF blessing after 5+ years of TTC.
DH has been a little nervous throughout this process. He is not sure about the whole process and not being in the hospital as he views the hospital as being a "safer" environment. He is ok with the midwifery as long as there are multiple people present and he doesn't have to do anything out of the ordinary. The hospital is also just 3 min away which is a comforting fact for him.
