Natural VBAC on Christmas Day. Baby boy was 8.3 and 21". It was by far a better labor experience than my first medicated labor. Obviously it ended better with a vaginal birth instead of c/s. My doula was amazing and a MUST. I may have given up without her. She was crucial support during the pushing stage. I also used my hypnobabies a little to help me relax and be at peace. Trust your body. Move in ways that just feel right. Take it one contraction at a time. It is so worth it in the end. I was not groggy and numb after he arrived but completely ready to hold him and nurse him and just be.

Congratulations! I'm very happy for you.
I never considered hypnosis before, but after your post I googled it and it sounds interesting. Gonna have a look whether I can still include that in my birth/learn the exercises fast enough.
