What brings you to the NCB board?: I want to have a natural childbirth, not for bragging rights or because I'm tough but just because I don't like what can go wrong with so many medical interventions and I don't really believe they make anything better. My job is related to the medical field, but I'm very distrustful of modern medicine except in dire circumstances--then I'm glad for it.

What brings you to the NCB board?: I was a member here when I was pregnant with my daughter and had my pain-med free hypnobabies birth with her. I hung around for a long time and then the board slowed down and I kind of quit posting here. I re-joined when I got pregnant again... we're going to have a water birth this time around

What brings you to the NCB board?: I'm interested in learning more about NCB. I am so impressed by women who choose this, and I'd like to give it a real go. If it were just about me, I'd say "knock me out and get it over with." But it's not just about me, and I feel like a drug-free birth is something I'd like to try to give to our baby.
