Children (names, ages): Ashlynn who turned 2 the end of January.
What brings you to the NCB board?: Lurking at the moment. Really, really hoping to "Take birth back" (as I consider it) and have a "real" birth with my son. No interventions, no medications.. just me, natural labor and the birth of my healthy baby boy.

What brings you to the NCB board?: I use to be on here when I was pregnant, but I still lurk from time to time now that she's on a good sleeping schedule. (Yay for time to myself!)

What brings you to the NCB board?: Hoping to come as close as I can to a natural childbirth with Baby, and looking for inspiration. All of my "in real life" friends play the "Don't be a hero!" card, and just don't seem to understand.

Status (preggo, EDD, TTC, WTTC, done, undecided?): Undecided. I'm starting to get "the itch" again, but DH is still not ready.
SO: Mike
Children (names, ages): Sulayman (4.5 years) and Sideeq (2 years)
What brings you to the NCB board?: I've been around for awhile. I was a regular here for both pregnancies and births. With my first, I originally had an OB who seemed natural birth friendly, but it became clear as time went on that she wasn't. I switched to a midwife at 37 weeks (!) and had a natural birth center birth. With my second kiddo I was with my same midwife the entire time and planned a homebirth from the get go. He was born at home in my birthing tub.
I'm a strong advocate for natural birth, which always makes my colleagues laugh since I'm an Anesthesiologist (I don't do OB anymore though..I'm strictly Pediatric).

Anyhow, hello again. I hope to get to spend more time here with you all!

What brings you to the NCB board?: This is our third pregnancy after two miscarriages last year. We're determined to use as little intervention as possible and will be using a midwife and delivering at her birth center.
