Just wanted to say hi. I love reading your stories!! My name is Amanda. I'm preparing for my third natural birth in a few short weeks. Currently I'm 36 weeks pregnant. My last two babies have been natural hospital births. No pitocin, no stadol, epidural...nothing. I didn't even have an IV last time because of how quick it went. This time we are birthing at a freestanding birthing center. I'm very excited about everything, even the labor part. I tend to labor quick, so hopefully this goes the same way! I just feel very off and sick during the first part of labor with very random contractions (like two an hour) then once I hit transition, they are back to back and baby is born in about an hour. That would be so great if that happened the same way this time! LOL

Welcome! I hope your labor goes similarly to your last two. I'm a quick laborer too, and have had two hospital births, though my last one I barely made it to the hospital, stayed at home too long! I have pretty easy, widely spaced contractions through my labor (every 8 minutes-ish) and then transition hits and baby just comes quick. I'm jealous you get to birth in a birth center, I would love that option!
